We did not just build an AI tool. We reverse engineered the creative mind of a professional videographer.
Lumai was not born in a boardroom. It started in the field, behind a camera lens, and late at night in an editing suite.
My background is unique. I am an engineer by trade but a professional photographer and videographer by passion. For years I experienced the friction of video production firsthand. Hauling heavy gear, managing complex software, and spending hours editing a single minute of footage.
I realized that while every home is unique the cinematic language of a great real estate video is consistent. It requires a director's eye to know when to push in when to cut and how to evoke emotion.
With an insatiable appetite for learning everything about AI I asked a simple question. Can I teach a machine to see the world the way I do?
Understanding composition, lighting, and the emotional weight of a shot.
Building scalable systems that reproduce that artistic decision making instantly.
Obsessed with the bleeding edge of AI to solve old problems in new ways.
AI used to be a novelty but today it is a commodity just like electricity used to be. Everyone now has access to endless information and technology at their fingertips. But having electricity does not make you an inventor and having access to AI does not make you a filmmaker.
"The magic is not in the raw technology itself. It is in how you develop with it. It is about wiring that electricity into a machine that understands the nuances of human creativity."
We built Lumai not just to automate tasks but to democratize the skill of video production. We took the experience of editing hundreds of videos and encoded that intuition into software.
Our goal is not to replace the professional videographer completely. There are certainly plenty of use cases for hiring a professional to document a home or space.
Lumai was developed to raise the bar of quality so that new techniques are discovered, creative editors find new ways to stand out, and visuals for media of all kind are constantly pushed.
Our software learns from the latest and greatest Real Estate and Architecture videos. Think of when you see a video and say wow that shot was really amazing and really showed off that space. Our software takes notes from all of these new videos being put out there and takes the best elements to integrate into our algorithm.
Scheduling crews, managing expensive gear, and spending days in post production editing suites.
We analyze the best cinematography in the world and make those techniques available to you instantly.
